Terms and conditions of sale
All buy-sell transactions through the site are governed by these terms of sale between the clients (the Buyers) of the website shop.origamifurniture.com and the Company (the Supplier) Origami Furniture srl, via G. Natta, 1 - I-24061 Albano Sant’Alessandro – Bergamo – Italy – Reg. VAT No.: 04014840161, REA BG-428030.
These Terms are for the purchase of products, carried out remotely via computer network at “shop.origamifurniture.com”.
These General Conditions of Sale must be examined online by customers on the site shop.origamifurniture.com before they confirm their purchases.
The submission of the order confirmation implies the total knowledge of the General Conditions of Sale and their full acceptance.
The Customer agrees and is obliged, once the purchase process online is accomplished, to print and keep these General Conditions of Sale, already examined and accepted during the purchase process, in order to fully satisfy the conditions under Articles. 3 and 4 of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 185/1999.
Before confirming the purchase, the customer will be shown the unit cost of each product chosen, the total cost if he purchases more than 1 product, and related shipment costs.
Confirming the purchase, at the completion of the transaction, the customer will receive an email containing the date, the total amount of his order and its details.
Secure payment. Payment is made through credit card via Paypal® gateway which guarantees maximum security of transactions.

Payment can also be made through bank transfer in advance to the following account: IBAN: IT71O0503453510000000005050 - The holder of the account is Origami Furniture.
SWIFT code: BAPPIT21AD4 (required for payments from abroad).
No other way of payment is accepted.
For every order placed on the site, Origami Furniture srl issues an invoice for the sent goods. The invoice is issued while processing the order and it will be sent by e-mail to the Buyer’s address. For the issuance of the invoice the information supplied by the customer during the checkout process will be considered authentic. After the issuance of the invoice, it is not possible to make any change to the information in the same. The amounts will be shown on the invoice only in Euros.
Deliveries are carried with selected express carriers at the Buyer’s full expense. These expenses and any other charges connected with transportation or the delivery of the products are reckoned and clearly detailed before the order confirmation as well as in the invoice or receipt of purchase.
Any costs for duties and customs duties in accordance with the rules of their own country are excluded from the calculation of shipping charges.
The average time of delivery of the ordered material will vary depending on the destination and is about five to seven working days.
They run from the day following that on which the order was sent in the case of payment by Credit Card, or the day following the verification of payment by Bank Transfer in advance.
The times above are valid for information purposes only and are not binding. The purchased goods will be delivered no later than 20 working days for all products in the online shop. For products with custom graphics the time of delivery will be agreed.
By the very nature of the Origami Furniture furnishings, these are packed and shipped fully assembled, so the packages may be quite voluminous.
The carrier is not obliged to deliver to the Buyer’s apartment floor: the Buyer (or any caretaker) must retrieve the pack on the ground floor of the property.
To collect the parcel it’s required to sign a receipt, the carrier is not allowed to leave the package at the door.
At the time of delivery at his domicile, the Buyer shall check the integrity of the packs and verify there is no damage caused by the forwarder.
Damaged package. If the box with which you receive your order should be damaged or dented, while collecting it you should write "I get with reserves, broken box" on the carrier receipt, so as to allow the replacement of the products, if they were damaged, at no extra charge. We will personally take care of the claim with the carrier.
Right of withdrawal
According to the Article no. 5 of the Italian Legislative Decree no. 185/1999, the Buyer may exercise the right to withdraw without penalty within 14 days from the date of receipt of the ordered goods.
Please note that the right of withdrawal may be exercised solely by the Buyer - end consumer - who purchases the goods for purposes unrelated to his economic and working activity.
The right of withdrawal can not be exercised if the items have been customized and/or modified at the request of the customer.
The Buyer may exercise the right of withdrawal by sending – not later than 14 days from receipt of goods – an e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org , declaring the express wish of the Buyer to cancel the purchase contract. Such notice shall be followed by the return of the goods received within 14 days.
The only costs borne by the Buyer will be those relating to the delivery of the goods to the sender: Origami Furniture srl, via G. Natta, 1 - I-24061 Albano Sant’Alessandro (Bergamo) – Italy.
(Just to have an idea of the approximate expenses to ship back the goods by express carrier please refer to the delivery costs you have been charged to receive the goods. However the forwarder may apply a different rate.)
The integrity of the goods to be returned is an essential condition for the exercise of the right of withdrawal.
The return of products that are damaged, deteriorated or lacking in original accessories or equipment shall not be accepted by the Supplier.
Once the Supplier has received the goods in accordance with the foregoing and has carried out the due checks, he shall refund the Buyer as quickly as possible - within 14 days: the total amount will be credited back to the Buyer’s Credit Card or, if the payment was made by Bank Transfer, by Bank Transfer to the Buyer’s account (in this case the Buyer should indicate his own bank account details while declaring the intention to exercise the right of withdrawal).
